As of August, 2005, Charlie Hall is looking for male and female "fill-in" cast members and pianist for his award-winning comedy cabaret, Ocean State Follies. Immediate opening! Cast members should have a good singing voice, outgoing personality, good sense of humor – and a knowledge of local politics wouldn't hurt. Somewhere in the 25 to 45 age group would be preferable. Pay can vary, but approximately $60-$100 per show; more for accompanists. Performances are occasionally on weeknights, mostly Friday and Saturday evenings.

Also, Charlie Hall is casting for a few other dinner theater projects, and daytime shows for school kids this September! So get your resume in. Join the most creative and comical theatrical troupe in the area - we get a LOT of high-visibility gigs including TV, radio shows, political fundraisers, etc. You'll actually become a semi-celebrity. It's great fun with a great cast.

FOLLIES WANT AN INTERN!

Charlie Hall is looking for a summer intern for his OCEAN STATE FOLLIES. The position is more for "back of the house" operations than performing, however there will be understudy work if he/she is a performer. The job includes bookings, group marketing, promoting, ad placing, cold calling, meetings with clients, etc. The ability to create digital flyers and promotional items would be a plus!!! Must be personable and have transportation. About 20 hours a week.
